Can it really be one year since we started the Aureus Medical blog? They say that time flies when you’re having fun – and even though this past year has not been easy for many people because of the job market and the overall economy – life has been okay for most in our profession and we here at Aureus have been having a lot of fun working with all of you during this last year.

4th of July Safety
As healthcare workers, you know that the 4th of July brings in more injuries than usual with fireworks being the culprit. Several people die and many thousands more are injured each year in fireworks related accidents. Most injuries are to the hands, fingers, face and eyes. Keep yourself safe by preventing fireworks injuries. Don’t become a patient at your own facility!

Grill Out to Benefit NAMI
C&A, parent company of Aureus Medical Group, hosted a grill out benefiting the 2010 NAMI Walk Friday, May 14 at both the C&A Plaza and Lakeside office locations. “Ducking and Dodging” for a Good Cause
There was a lot of ducking and weaving on Saturday, April 4th at the first annual “Ducking and Dodging for a Cure” co-ed dodgeball tournament. The event, organized by employees in Aureus Medical Group, was a huge success! A total of 13 teams participated, raising more than $1,000 for Camp Quality Heartland.
